 This is a beginners drone for children aged 14 and above and advises that children are supervised whilst using this.  It is thoroughly recommended that you read the instructions before you start to assemble and play with this drone.  Failing to do this could end up in the drone being damaged or someone being hurt in the process.  This is not waterproof so it is advised to keep this away from water or heat sources.  Also do not use this in snow or strong winds.  Be aware not to use this near any overhead power lines or in any area where the laws and regulations will not permit drones.  This comes with a manual of all the things not to do and all the instructions you need to become proficient at controlling a drone.  It also recommends watching video tutorials on youtube but I could not find the one quoted in the manual.  I did watch some other similar ones and got the idea how to use it.




 It teaches you how to calibrate the drone, how to lock and unlock it.  To use one key auto take off/land, learn how to do an emergency stop should you need to.  Tips given on how to reach high, medium and low speeds, how to do a 260 degree flip, roll and spin.  It recommends that you do practice exercises to become a better quadcopter pilot like, turning, moving sideways, going forward and backward and elevation.  It also has a great trouble shooting guide at the back.

When I first got this it looked weird.  It all comes packed in a beautiful tough box so straight away it would be a great gift for any one, child or adult.  The 4 channel remote box has all the bits you need in the back of the box stored in a cleaver compartment.  you get spare blades a screw driver and the feet to go on the drone.  Also in there are the handles for using the remote which just push on to become the joy sticks.  The drone itself can be charged up by the side of your computer, the remote control uses 2 x AAA batteries.  Once you have done all the pre-flight training (reading the manual) then you are good to put all you have read about into practice.  This unit buzzes like a fly and made me feel a bit uncomfortable at first as it got near to me.  I think this is best used out in your garden on the grass so when you crash this (and you will) it has a softer landing.  It is I have to say absolutely great fun and does tests your hand, eye coordination.   This is something that all the family could get involved with, really you'll master this one and be looking to move on to the more complex drones.   Some people may pick this up really quickly or like us some will need more practice.  Great value for money and time well spent with the family.
