 This 8 inch professional chef knife is made from German high carbon stainless steel.  It comes in a lovely box so if you are giving it to a friend it looks lovely and presentable.  It is believe you me very sharp and just slices through meat like butter.  It lets you cut effortlessly and is suitable for meat, vegetables, fruit and even fish.  Its wooden handle is ergonomically designed so that you can use it in whichever hand feels comfortable and is shaped to avoid any injuries.

I bought a lot of meat from one of our local markets of the butchers van and this knife was just perfect.  I always find that one chunk of meat is always better cut into to two and easier to cook and this knife was just brilliant.  It made the chopping up of a joint so easy.  It is a really strong and sharp knife and perfect for any professional or non professional chef.  Well made and defiantly worth the money.  If you are looking for a good kitchen knife I thoroughly recommend this one.
