Being a big chocolate fan I have found it difficult over the years to find alternatives having a milk intolerance.  I know from reviewing previous vegan books that they always have cleaver ways of coming up with alternatives.  The recipes always look tasty and believe you me the ones I have tried have not turned out so bad for a novice cook like myself.  I am always on the hunt for different ideas and Sam always delivers.  I am not bias in any way.  I myself know as a sufferer that it is not always easy to find food alternatives whatever your issue be it medical or choice.  It’s always great to have a different avenue to travel.

The pictures in this book are really good and want you to try everything.  The only one I thought was not great just happened to be from the first recipe in the book.  Sam has created a new hybrid drink which is cross between a smoothie and a pudding.  It’s a great idea but the picture does not inspire me to rush away and make it.

I am not sure about the rest of you but because I am not supposed to have milk chocolate I always feel naughty when I have, as they say, “fallen off the wagon” and succumbed.  This book has a great little recipe for a Vegan chocolate egg.  The picture positively had my mouth drooling.  What a brilliant idea with Easter around the corner.  Instead of the usual arguments on the way to the shops, why not make your own.

I received this book for free and am under no obligation to review this.
