“Amazon Fire TV is a way to stream different media types from the internet to your TV.  This means you can watch video’s or listen to music from the internet even if you don’t have cable.”

These are the opening words from John Slavio, published author, who has written his latest blockbuster on the Amazon Fire TV.  I must admit to being somewhat unsure of how this process works but John has laid out a step by step guide to take us through the process.

Firstly he compares how this product to its competitors and weights up the pro’s and con’s.  Then we are walked through the process of setting up the equipment and how to stream the programmes and films that you want to watch.

Next we are introduced to “Alexa”.  She is a very versatile voice command system that can respond to certain commands like play music or update my shopping list.  She can interact with you to a certain level and I defiantly think this is the way forward.  I think it is a great tool and a lot of people will have great fun with this.  Alexa can also be used if you already have Smart Home.  She can do various things like turn down the thermostat or change the temperature in a room by a specific amount.

Fire TV is also good if you like gaming.  It is best to have the Amazon Fire TV Controller if you are going to be doing this though as the device you use needs to be compatible with Amazon Fire TV.  (This can also be purchased from Amazon).

This product is unlike any I have seen before and is surely worth a look and with this book you would have the advantage of first-hand knowledge and an insight into how things work.  Amazon Fire TV and John Slavio, both I think are players for the future.
