 When you first get this power strip, it looks like most of the other power strips.  This is not just any one, no sir this is a smart power strip.  It has 3 surge protector AC outlets and 4 USB charging ports (2.4A).  The extension length is 1.8 metres and size is 22.9 x 6 x 4.5 cm, weighting in at just 680g.  The 3 sockets can be controlled remotely on your phone but in order to do this you would need to use this in conjunction with Alexa or Google Home.  You have to connect the power strip first to one of these devices then you can control  it via voice control.  This will work for IOS and Android smartphones.  You can set up an automated on/off schedule on the Smart app, multiple devices with one phone or control one power strip with multiple phones.  This also has an overload and surge protection with built in leakage switch. You will need to download Ama Home App from the App store or Google play and connect it to your WLAN (2.4GHz)

This is a great size power strip and it is a very quick charger.   I have had problems charging my mobile and I plugged it into this and it was fully charged in 20 minutes.  There is a button on the top that can be switched on or off as usual, but if you hold it down for a couple of seconds you can open a wifi hotspot.  The blue/red lights in between the USB and the 3 main power sockets will flash so you know it is looking.  This is a great power socket for charging a mixture of things from your phone to your tablet or for just using it as a normal power socket.  This comes with a useful guide which walks you through step by step exactly what to do to bind your device and what steps to follow after you have done this.  It is very good and even gives you some of the voice commands to use for either Alexa or Google home.  I think this is a very strong product and recommend this especially if you have Alexa or goggle home.  You could plug in your music and ask Alexa to turn on the radio or have a light plugged in and ask Alexa to turn off the light.  The possibilities are endless, just buy one and make your own mind up.
