These earrings are 925 silver studs with Green Tourmaline gem stones set into the top.  The size of these are quite dainty measuring a cool 4mm x 4mm.  This lovely gemstone originates from Brazil and comes in various colours.

 Brazil is know to sell the best Tourmaline gemstones in the world.  The colour of the green stones comes from Chromium impurities. The stones are also known as Verdelite.   Derived from a boron silicate combined with various metals. 


This is a semi precious stone, however, it is more popular today than it has every been.  This stone is meant to have metaphysical properties.  Apparently it brings prosperity to the wearer and is also known to be a source of energy.

All I know is that I love the colour and when you wear them the sunlight dances off the top of them making them shiny and the different colours of green just sparkle at you.  This would be the perfect gift for someone for a graduation or don't forget Christmas is coming soon, what a lovely stocking filler.  These earrings are just that classy completion to any outfit and so affordable.  Check out Amazon.
