I have just recently reviewed The Ultimate Budget Travel Guide for Students.   I found this book to be fascinating and full of us...eful information for any traveller. I recommend that if you are planning a trip then this is the ebook for you.
I liked the fact that the author looked at how different people dealt with different situations and cultures. There are tips and advice on how to save money, using different types of transport and where the best places are to book cheap flights. All this information is first hand from Abhishek’s own personal travelling and offers good advice on how to get from A to B without spending a fortune and staying safe at the same time.
A couple of the best ways to see a bit of the world is through either studying or working abroad. If you are working on a project and you want to travel but are low on funds the book advises how to find funding for this through a process called Crowfunding. A lot of people join local charities and volunteer to do aid work abroad. That way they get to see a bit of the world and do some good at the same time.
There are good tips on how to eat cheaply and often the best source of local knowledge is the people you are staying with be that a hotel, a hostel or the people whose house you are looking after. There is sound advice about keeping your money and valuables safe and also how to stay healthy as the last thing you want is to fall ill during your adventures. There is a lot to consider and the best bit of the book, I thought, was the lists at the end of all the sites to visit that will help you. You could use it as a tick sheet when planning your trip.
