This is a Hog charging socket.  This can be set up and used anywhere in the house, bedroom or office.  I decided to put mine in my dining room because my mobile is the main phone in my house and this is where I usually have it to charge at night.  This unit is pink and in the shape of a pig.  It is not only a great novelty piece to have in your house but very useful.  There are 8 outlets and 4 of them are USB ports.  The cable at the back is approximately 6ft long so there is plenty of space and manoeuvrability to set this up.  This helps to keep the cables all in one place   The size of this item is 4.7" in length by 4.7" in width by 4.2" in height.  This unit as you can see is a 2 pin plug so to use in the UK you will have to get some 2 pin adaptors for the plug sockets.  You can buy this on Amazon.co.uk and get it delivered next day.  This unit is CE, FCC Rohs Certificated.  It has thermo-resistant and flame-retardant material housing with high quality copper connector inside.  The rated AC power of this charging station is 2000W, 10A. The USB port Can output 5V 1A/2A smartly by detection to meet current needs.  If using high powered electrical items like hairdryers, you need to use these with caution.  This unit has voltage, overload, electromagnetic, overcurrent, electrostatic, thermal, overcharge, short-circuit protection and lightning protection.  There is also surge protection with Fuse.  I like this unit as it works well and is easy to use.  I had 4 items plugged in at one time and it did not get hot.  If you have a gadget geek in the house then this would be perfect for putting in their office so they can have all their electronics to hand.  Its a gift with a difference so go to Amazon and check it out.  There is also a UK version which is currently waiting stock.  Please see below further details of where you can purchase this item.
