This 4 in 1 nylon braided multi USB cable is a really handy piece of kit.  I have used this one to plug into my laptop as I use my phone all the time to make videos for my product testing and my main charger is downstairs so am often trudging up and down to get it.  Now I don't have to.  I have a Samsung Galaxy 6 and this fits perfectly with this cable.  I also plugged in my tablet and another android phone I had and this is just brilliant.  There are also two other ports that can be used for iPhones etc.  See this list below from Jastek advising the best use for this.  They also offer a 12 month replacement warranty and advise that the USB Cables are only for charging and not support sync data.

This item is very easy to use and I have tried pulling the ends off and they are quite securely fixed.  It is very easy to bend and manipulate the leads to go where you want them to.  In this day and age of technology we all have maybe a personal phone and some maybe lucky enough to have a work phone.  That along side a tablet you could be charging your phone whilst in work on your laptop and never run out of charge every again.
  

Another option could be if you and your family are going on holiday you may need to take your phones / lap top with you but not all the chargers.  Get one of these and save on carrying.  Just pop it in your pocket and away you go.  Even if you are going on that long business trip and you know you wont be able to stop and charge your phone.  Just plug this into your laptop to get the charge you need to make your call.

This gadget is the working man's best friend.  I don't know how I got along without it.
